Dishy Mini Mounts is Australia's leading specialist in Starlink Mini mounting solutions and accessories. Founded in August 2024 and based in regional New South Wales, we design, manufacture, and ship Australian Made products purpose-built for the Starlink Mini satellite dish.

What started as a solution for our own use has grown into a trusted name across Australia - from outback cattle stations to emergency services, from grey nomads to remote workers. We're proud to have earned the trust and reputation every brand desires, which has been organic, mostly through word of mouth. Our Story

Like many Australians in regional areas, we'd become increasingly frustrated with mobile networks. By early 2024, coverage had gone backwards - areas that once had reliable signal no longer did, and even when we had bars, data was often unusable. Other connectivity solutions we'd relied on simply stopped working. It was a problem we heard from neighbours, friends, and fellow farmers across the country.

So when a friend called in August 2024 to say "Starlink Minis have just dropped in Australia" - six months earlier than expected - we didn't hesitate. We ordered on day one. For around $800, we finally had a real solution for staying connected on the farm and in remote locations.

Then came the second problem: mounting it.

We searched for a decent mount and were stunned to find prices of $500 to over $1,000 — in some cases more than the Starlink Mini itself. Reluctantly, we bought one of the expensive options. It broke within weeks of light use.

That was the lightbulb moment, when everything changed.

We never set out to start a business. The first mounts were just for us, maybe a few for friends and family. But when we posted photos on social media, the response was overwhelming. Enquiries flooded in from people facing the same frustrations - overpriced, underwhelming mounts that didn't survive Australian conditions.

We weren't prepared for the demand, but we weren't going to ignore it either.

When we launched, competitors were charging $500 to $1,000+ for mounts. We proved you could deliver a quality, Australian Made product for around $250 - without cutting corners.
