The Dishy Mini Mount is well made and very solid. The Starlink Mini fits snugly into the mount and is held securely with no movement at all. The Dishy armour adds an extra layer of protection against hail and stones, and it also completes the overall setup nicely.
Because my platform rack is aluminium, I didn’t want to add extra steel plates just for the magnetic feet. Instead, I used the alternate mounting holes and installed rivet-nut inserts to give the mount threaded points. From there, I used thumb screws from underneath the rack, allowing the rubber-coated magnet feet to act as legs. Mounted this way, the whole system is very sturdy, easy to remove, and still allows me to use the magnetic feet on steel surfaces when needed.
Overall, the Dishy Mini Mount is solid, well made and very functional.
