This mini cable is exactly what you need to run the Starlink Mini dish on a 12V system. After reading other reviews saying Starlink uses a lot of power, I was worried about how long my 12V batteries would last. Thankfully, Dishy's website was super helpful in understanding the actual 12V power consumption for a caravan setup. Highly recommend!

Its still in the packet, wont know for a week or two doing some upgrades to motorhome.
One thing though, I thought the unit I bought was to come with a short 2m lead whereas I have 7m. I will have to roll it up a bit. .... That was disappointing.

The 5 metre cable is long enough to use on the car from roof through to canopy. Definitely a power saver compared to using previous cable with cig plug to battery. Looking forward to using it when camping at end of year.
I'm not entirely happy with it. First of all, it didn't stay in one spot on the roof. I had to make a bracket up to secure it to the sports bar as it kept moving about as the 4 magnets weren't strong enough. Also, the rubber for on the magnets are already starting to show signs of wear after less than 1000km. I was a bit disappointed with the 3D printed plastic parts, which for something of this price it comes across as being made in a back shed.
I also bought the Anderson plug 12-36v power lead which was as advertised, although for the price probably needed to include a remote on/off switch.
I did just buy all this as a package without looking at other options, and there are great reviews, so I'm just giving my experience.
After looking for a mounting solution for several months, I stumbled upon the Dishy Mount kit for the starlink mini. Problem is that magnets do not work on fibreglass. So I bought the Stainless Mounting discs as well. Initioally I planned to stick the discs to the fibreglass with the round 3M tape provided, but after taking a fresh look at all the places our mini might go, we decided to attach it to the bimini top instead. The magnets are so strong, that we have secured to that the discs hold the mount in place through the canvas of the bimini. I highly recommend this product, not least because it has enabled us to secure the starlink mini to our boat without so much as one drill hole. We can also easily move it if we store the boat in the off season.

Fitment was pretty tight and I had to re adjust screws to get starlink dish to fit in properly. Not overly happy with the price I paid which is more expensive than the starlink itself. Fitment should've been good from the start.
The step up converter is a well made unit with good IP rating for outdoor use. I am
powering my Starlink mini from the external Anderson connector on my off-road van and putting the mini wherever gets the best sky view (either roof rack or van roof). No wastage of power using inverter and no open window for cabling. Perfect solution.

The tether is small in size but strong and assists in securing the starlink mini mount to hopefully prevent theft.
