Starlink Mini Tripod Power Bank – 166Wh Capacity
Tripod and power bank in a single unit – stand your Starlink Mini anywhere and run it for 6–8 hours, no vehicle, no generator, no mains.
The Tripod Power Bank combines a sturdy Starlink Mini stand with a built-in 166.5Wh (45,000mAh) battery. Set up on any ground, fit the dish with its standard pipe adapter, and you have internet where there is no power at all – paddocks, job sites, riverbanks, remote properties.
🔋 A Note on Capacity – 166.5Wh, Not 99Wh
These tripod stands are commonly sold with a 99Wh battery. We stock the 166.5Wh version only – roughly 68% more capacity, and 6–8 hours of runtime rather than 4–5. The trade-off is air travel: under-100Wh banks fly without approval, and at 166.5Wh this one is over the limit. If you need a battery for a plane, our MP158 at 158Wh can go in carry-on with airline approval.
🔋 Key Features
⚡ 166.5Wh Built-In Battery
Runs a Starlink Mini for 6–8 hours real-world. No separate battery box, no cable spaghetti – the power lives in the stand.
🔌 Purpose-Built Starlink Output
Dedicated 30V/2A DC output matched to the Starlink Mini's input – stable connectivity with no step-up converter needed.
🔋 Bi-Directional USB-C
65W USB-C port (PD 3.0 / QC 4.0) recharges the unit in about 2.5 hours – or tops up your phone, tablet or laptop while the dish keeps running.
👆 One-Click Leg Deployment
Press the button in the base and the three legs swing out on their own. No fiddling with catches in the dark, in the wet, or with cold hands. They fold flat against the column just as quickly when you are packing up.
🦾 All-In-One Setup
Tripod, battery and dish mount in one piece of kit. Uses the pipe adapter that comes standard with every Starlink Mini – V1 and V2 dishes alike. Gets the dish up off wet ground and out of the short stuff, on a stable three-point base.
🧲 Works With Your DMM Mount Kit
Every DMM mount has an opening on the underside: remove the dish's kickstand, fit the standard pipe adapter, and your Starlink Mini stays inside the mount the whole time. Swap between vehicle and tripod without ever taking the dish out of its cradle.
🛡️ On/Off Switch and Battery Indicator
Integrated power switch and charge-level display, with built-in safety protection.
🌾 Built for the Bush
For farmers checking stock water on the back block, contractors setting up site comms, emergency crews and remote workers who need internet exactly where the job is.

Common Questions
Q: How long will it run my Starlink Mini?
A: 6–8 hours real-world runtime on a full charge, depending on conditions and dish power draw.
Q: Is this the 99Wh version?
A: No. These stands are commonly sold with a 99Wh battery, but we stock the 166.5Wh only – about 68% more capacity, and 6–8 hours of runtime instead of 4–5. If you have compared this against a cheaper tripod power bank elsewhere, capacity is almost always the difference.
Q: How high does it stand?
A: 305mm to the top of the column, on a 420mm leg span. That lifts the dish clear of wet ground and short grass on a stable three-point base. It packs down to 300 x 53mm with the legs folded in.
Q: Does it fit both Starlink Mini versions?
A: Yes – it uses the pipe adapter that ships standard with every Starlink Mini, so V1 and V2 dishes both fit.
Q: Does it work with my DMM mount kit?
A: Yes – DMM mounts have an opening on the underside for exactly this. Remove the dish's kickstand, fit the standard pipe adapter, and the Starlink Mini stays inside the mount. No need to remove the dish from the cradle at all.
Q: Do I need to buy any cables?
A: No. The DC lead that connects the battery to your Starlink Mini is in the box, along with a USB-C cable for recharging. The DC lead is deliberately short because the dish sits directly on top of the battery.
Q: Can I fly with it?
A: No – at 166.5Wh it is over the 160Wh airline maximum, so it cannot fly at all. This is the campsite and job-site unit, not the travel one. If you need a battery for air travel, our MP158 at 158Wh sits in the 101–160Wh band and can go in carry-on with airline approval before you fly. Only banks under 100Wh travel without permission.
