Dishy Armour Installation Instructions

Quick Install Guide – Dishy Armour to Dishy Mini Mount

Tools Required

• 4mm Allen Key (included)

Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Mount
   • Remove the 8 × M6 20mm hex bolts from the Mini Mount (no longer needed).
   • If installing Starlink Mini for the first time: remove the 4 Top Caps → place the Mini into the cradle → reinstall the Top Caps (lip facing downward).
   • 
2. Prepare the Armour
   • Remove protective film from both sides of the Armour cover.
   • Ensure all 4 Top Caps are aligned correctly.
   • 
3. Install the Armour (Important)
   • Place the Dishy Armour on top of the entire Mini Mount assembly.
   • The Armour must sit above the Top Caps — it is the final protective layer.
   • Insert 8 × M6 30mm bolts down through the Armour → through the Top Caps → into the base corner pieces.
   • Secure bolts in a crisscross pattern, then tighten firmly (do not overtighten).

4. Final Check
   • Ensure the Armour is flush and secure.
   • Verify a consistent 10mm air gap exists between the Armour and the Starlink Mini for cooling.

The following detailed instructions walk you through correct installation of your Dishy Armour, ensuring maximum durability and proper airflow.

What You'll Need

• Dishy Armour with included hardware
• Dishy Mini Mount (already installed)
• 4mm Allen Key

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Dishy Mini Mount
   • Place your Mini Mount on a flat, stable surface.
   • Remove the existing 8 × M6 20mm bolts.
   • If installing your Starlink Mini, remove the Top Caps, insert the Mini, and reinstall the Top Caps.
   • Ensure all 4 Top Caps are aligned — these support the Armour.
   Note: The underside of every Top Cap has a lip. This lip must face downward.
2. Prepare the Dishy Armour
   • Remove protective film from both sides of the Armour.
   • Inspect the Armour — it should appear crystal clear.
   • Set aside the 8 × M6 30mm bolts.
   Note: Ensure the Top Caps are correctly oriented before placing the Armour.
3. Secure the Armour
   • Place the Armour directly on top of the Top Caps and mount assembly.
   • Ensure all bolt holes line up (Armour → Top Caps → base).
   • Insert each M6 30mm bolt downward.
   • Tighten all bolts in a crisscross pattern.
   Note: Tighten bolts until firm — nyloc nuts prevent loosening.
4. Check Alignment
   • Verify a uniform 10mm air gap between the Dishy Armour and the Starlink Mini.
   • Confirm the Armour is stable, properly seated, and evenly tightened.
