How to Fit It

The quickest method is to loop the cable back through itself. Pass the tether around a fixed anchor point, feed one looped end through the other, and pull it up snug. The cable cinches onto the anchor and cannot slide off. Then run the free end to your mount.

A roof rack grab handle is the easiest anchor on most setups. It is fixed, load-bearing, and usually within easy reach of the dish. A crossbar, a tie-down point, a bull bar bolt, or a caravan A-frame all work just as well. Avoid anything that unclips or unbolts by hand, or that is only held on by a plastic fitting.

For fast attach and detach, add a carabiner.
