Common Questions
Q: What’s the difference between this and the cigarette lighter 36V model?
A: This version takes a DC male input instead of a cigarette lighter plug — giving you more flexibility to connect to existing DC wiring, solar controllers, or other 12V sources that don’t use a cig socket.
Q: Do I need a separate cable with this?
A: A 1m DC cable is attached. For longer runs to the dish, add one of our DC extension cables or a DC male-to-male cable.
Q: Why 36V instead of 30V?
A: 36V provides maximum voltage headroom for the Starlink Mini. It’ll boot reliably even if your input voltage sags significantly. The trade-off is 60W capacity vs 108W on the 30V models.
